Two years

Two years since I started my new life! It's been a wild ride, but I'm happy with where I am, and eagerly await the adventures ahead. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn, as do we all. I also now know the importance of slowing down, and enjoying the moment - and having fun! I've been quite into paddle boarding lately, it's all the fun of dog paddling without needing to work very hard to stay afloat. 10/10 will paddle board again. I digress...

In honor of my 2 year re-birthversary, some of my favorite people threw a party in my name. The food was to die for Check it out!

The things that change

Two years later, and I'm still thinking. Every day is a series of moments in retrospect, a stream of memories. I miss my Mom, as I'm sure all would who feel the itch of loss. It stays with me, with all of us. For the last two years I have been unsure how I might scratch the itch, and again feel a connection to her after so long. My memories now confidently guide my path, and I honor her by embracing the world & life in front of me. With everything I accomplish, our connection is reinforced, and so is our bond. When she succeeds I feel her love once more, and I embrace my path knowing we are together still.

That's my take away from two years in this new life.
